The Vietti Barolo Lazzarito 2011 is a majestic expression of Piedmont, a 100% Nebbiolo DOCG with an intense garnet color. The aroma is an intertwining of rose, licorice, truffle, and spices. On the palate, it is austere yet elegant, with powerful but fine tannins and a long mineral finish. Aged in wood for over 30 months, it pairs perfectly with red meats and aged cheeses, served at 18-20°C in a large glass.
