Color: Very intense ruby red, slightly translucent with purple and garnet hues. The wine is very fluid and forms narrow little windows.
Nose: Very intense with aromatic complexity. The bouquet contains very fine fruit and spice notes.
The fruit notes include blackberry, currant and blueberry. The floral notes are iris, violet and cyclamen. The spice notes are particularly abundant and include black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla and a little touch of nutmeg with a finish of warm wood.
Taste: Dry, very full-bodied and round with a balanced structure of tannins and alcohol.
The finish is long-lasting and intense, very fine and always ends with a pleasant fresh note.
Food pairings: Rich main dishes of red meat and medium and mature cheeses.
