The rich and elegant bouquet features red and dark fruits (tart cherry, cranberry, red currant, raspberry, blackberry) and cherry preserves, with hints of dogwood, candied orange zest and licorice root. On the palate it is crisp and full-bodied, with a delicate vein of acidity that drives its long progression. The tannins are perceptible but silky and fine-grained, and well integrated.
