This wine, produced in Sicily by Eduardo Torres Acosta, is a refined red Nerello Mascalese. It displays a transparent ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose offers an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and mineral/balsamic notes. On the palate, it is elegant, savory, and fresh, with silky tannins and a persistent finish enriched by mineral and spicy hints. Aged in large oak barrels and then in bottle, it pairs perfectly with red meats and aged cheeses, served at 16-18℃.
