Allegrini Amarone della Valpolicella Classico, an Italian icon from dried Corvina Veronese grapes, is an excellence. Intense ruby color, aromas of kirsch and spices. Full, velvety, persistent taste, ideal with red meats or for meditation.

Bouquet

Complex and enveloping, with hints of cherry in spirits, plum, spicy notes of black pepper, cocoa and tobacco.

Taste

Full, velvety and powerful. Great balance of structure, acidity and soft tannins, with a very persistent finish.

Large, generous glass, like a Gran Balón or large Bordeaux, to enhance the aromas.

Pairings

Ideal with important red meats, game, roasts, aged cheeses and rich dishes. Also excellent as a meditation wine.

Refinement

18 months in French oak barriques, 7 months in large barrels, then 14 months in bottle.

Vinification

Natural drying of grapes for 3-4 months. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature for 25 days.
