IN ITALY IT IS SEASON OF KIWI. Between October and November Italian kiwis are harvested, to be placed on the market until June. They are fruits originating in China, then arrived in New Zealand in the early 1900s, a country that, for a long time, had its production monopoly. Today, Italy represents an important production market. It is in fact a world leader and exports about 70% of the harvest abroad. Together with New Zealand and Belgium, our Bel Paese spreads in the world precious fruits for health and rich in nutrients essential for the body, especially in colder seasons.
